So I just finished my very LAST college class ever. I am so thrilled to say that December 17th, I will be a Baylor graduate! It has been amazing to be apart of this University and all that it entails.
It has been 4 and 1/2 years since I came to Waco, Texas and started a new chapter in my life. I'd be lying if I said it wasn't an adjustment, but I've had the BEST roommates, made wonderful friends, and met a very handsome guy. Now, at 23 years old, I am closing that chapter. As awesome as it is to never have to study again, take another test, or deal with professors, it's still really sad. I have loved the small town feel of Waco..no traffic, small classes, Christian environment. I mean sure the night life can suck, and waking up to an email that said, "Baylor University-- Armed Robbery on Campus," became second nature to me, but there is something about this town that I will miss.
I have met so many wonderful people here, so many that made such an impact on who I am, and although I am so excited to graduate, I am also sad to end the "college years" of my life. If you have been one of the people, that I love so much, thank you. Thank you so much for putting me into check when needed, thank you for dealing with my stubbornness, and thank you for being my friend and loving me through all of the laughter, tears, heartbreak, rush, drama, etc., in my life. It has been a wonderful, crazy ride and I will keep these memories forever.

These past 4 years have been such an amazing ride. I am thankful for every friend I have made along the way, & yes, even all the crazy guys I have dated. I wouldn't take back a second of my life as a college student. Baylor has helped mold me into the person that I am today, and I am so appreciative of that. To all of my friends that aren't graduated-- live it up. The time you have in college is so precious and it literally flies by right before your eyes. Before you know it, you'll be saying goodbye to the college life too! To all of my friends who have graduated... I'll be seeing you soon!
Next stop: Full time employment and living on my own in Austin, Texas. Grown up world, here I come!
