As I sit here and think about my future, I cannot hardly believe that I will be a college graduate in December. I feel like it was just yesterday I was moving into the dorms with Sarah, eating junk food, late nights at the Whitehouse, making so many new friends, new memories..and 4 years, gone by..like poof! Here I am, almost 23 years old. You don't realize how fast college goes by, but ohmygoodness, it's fast.
I can't say that I would take anything back, but I would give anything to go back to those years and do all of it all over again. Through all of the tears, heartbreaks, gossip, rush, fights, make-ups, break ups, gained weight, lost weight, trying to meet new people, studying my butt off and still failing, I grew into myself, & I realized who I am. I have finally figured out who my real friends are and how to be a good friend. After all of the relationships i've experienced, & the rude, terribly rude, "baptist" families that I wasn't good enough for..I found myself, and a bonus: I found my man. About a year and a half ago, I found the most amazing, humble, hilarious, Godly, handsome guy, who stands up for me, whose family loves me & I love, & who would never betray me, forsake me, or intentionally hurt me.. & there is not a better feeling in the world than knowing that.
Everyday, this life takes new turns that we may not expect. They may be little or not exactly noticeable road signs, but every single day, God is directing you towards the amazing person you are suppose to be, who you are suppose to be with, & His purpose for you. It is so refreshing to finally realize that, to feel the comfort of resting in His arms and knowing He will guide the way.
So here's a toast. To the good days, the best of friends. The ones that
you just can't live without. The people that have taught you how to party.
How to live. How to have a good time just sitting around. Here are to the
