Dear Single Guys

Recently, someone shared the blog the blog you are about to read, and it could not be more perfectly written. Over the past decade or so, our dating norms in society have changed between one another. A man pursing a woman has gone from courting, to dating, to talking, to hanging out, to texting, to "I don't really know what we are." Although guys are definitely a part of the lack of effort, it is our responsibility as young women to make sure we are being pursued in such a way that is honest and worthwhile. All too often, we want things to work out so bad, we allow ourselves to get taken advantage of, and accept the dating crumbs thrown at us as a sign that a man cares for us. However, those crumbs we continuously look for, is only his minimal efforts to pursue us.

Although I do not think that there is a black and white definition of appropriately courting, or a guy pursuing a lady, I think that actions always speak louder than words, and I think if he seems hesitant with going forward, taking a couple of steps back is always your best bet. If a good man is interested in pursing you for the right reasons, he will make it evident to you.

There are plenty of good guys out there, and if they are what they claim to be, they'll want a girl that holds herself to such a standard where she demands respect by just the way she carries herself. She will only be pursued in a kind way,  and will definitely never accept anyone's left over love crumbs for attention. Let's be the women that will only settle for the best, that make our own rules to this dating game.

See below for the blog. It needs to be read by not only every single guy, but every single girl. Dating can a biatch, but it doesn't have to be.
